Why should I volunteer?

Part of being a great volunteer is loving what you’re doing. Find something that you’re passionate about or something that inspires you, and then find a need in your community. There are dozens of reasons why you should volunteer – you just need to find the one that feels right.

At AIC we are very thankful for those than can donate their time to help our center reach it’s goals of maintaining a high level of education, health care, and well being for each of our students, patients, and staff.

We offer our volunteers housing (includes electricity, indoor plumbing heated by solar panels, bedding) for the duration of their stay, and transport to and from our center to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) as you begin and end your stay.

All other expenses are at the cost of the volunteer.

Who can volunteer?

While we are grateful to anyone and everyone who is willing to donate their time we can only accept those who fill all of the following criteria:

1. Aged 18 years or older

2. Current/Past experience in:
Education (Preschool or kindergarten)
Healthcare (Physician/Nurse/Technician/Physical-Occupational Therapy)
